The CRBA has announced the first winner of the Café Haiku contest!
Earlier in the spring, Corktowner readers were challenged to guess the dish from this photo and the accompanying haiku. The winner would receive a gift certificate to the restaurant for the value of the dish.
Mussels, shrimp, scallops
see tart tomatoes, fresh herbs
hearty, rich pasta
At the June Corktown public meeting, we were pleased to announce that Martin Gagné was the winner, correctly identifying the dish as spaghetti pescatore from Corktown’s Fusilli Ristorante. Martin also wins special magic extra points for sending in this Haiku with his contest entry:
Landed sea creatures
from water to my warm plate
nested in pasta
