The Grid and Waterfront Toronto have released the five finalists in their naming contest for Don River Park. Located in the southeastern part of Corktown, the park will be one of downtown’s premier green spaces when it opens later this summer. We’re all very excited.

Of the finalists, your CRBA board is very partial to “Corktown Common.” It’s a name that evokes the park’s place in the neighbourhood and celebrates the Irish beginnings of our community.
