We led an inaugural mask making workshop in collaboration with Corktown’s own The Lost and Found Gallery to celebrate Samhain, a traditionally Celtic festival marking the end of the harvest season. Celts historically wore masks on Samhain as a means of protection, like today’s Halloween tradition of costumes. Participants attending on the day consequently created various mixed media masks as an homage to Corktown’s Irish settler history.
