CORKTOWN

Pollinator gardening weekend, September 2024

We prepared sections of Corktown’s Cherry Street boulevard for the planning of native pollinator gardens, intended to support the creation of creation of pollinator habitats for bees, wasps, flies, butterflies, moths, beetles, and birds and more in alignment with the City of Toronto’s Pollinator Protection Strategy and our own efforts to promote sustainability focused projects and initiatives. This was one of several events undertaken to support the development of pollinator gardens in Corktown, like the one now thriving at Sackville Playground.
