SWEET STUFF: Our new friends at Roselle Desserts were reviewed by BlogTO. A big congrats to Stephanie and Bruce for putting together such an inviting place — check ’em out if you haven’t at 362 King East.

RIVER STREET CLOSURE: In less appetizing news, the City of Toronto announced last week that River Street will be closed southbound at Dundas during work hours for the next three weeks to allow for gas line realignment. You can find more details here.

HEALING CENTRE: 360 Healing Centre at 360 King East just launched a handy online booking page on their website, allowing you to schedule their range of services with just a few clicks. Check it out here.

RELIEF LINE PUBLIC CONSULTATION: The TTC is holding a public consultation on the Relief Line Subway project, which should be of interest to Corktowners. The session will be held on Monday, March 9 at St. Lawrence Hall from 7 to 9 p.m. Visit the consultation website for details.

ON STAGE: The New Ideas Festival kicks off this week at Alumnae Theatre. It’s your chance to check out fifteen bold new theatrical works. Visit Alumnae’s website for details and to get tickets. WHITE ELEPHANT EVENTS: White Elephant restaurant and bar at 366 Queen Street East debuts OPEN MIC NIGHTS this Thursday, March 12 from 8 p.m. until close. They’ll be running open mic nights each and every Thursday following, so be sure to check it out.
