Please come out and join us for a packed agenda. We’ll be hearing from some new Corktown businesses and talking about important local issues.

Starting on Saturday, December 7, Corktown theatrical firm Hit & Run Dance Studios — they share space with the Extension Room — is heading to Casa Loma to present a uniquely-staged production of PETER PAN. Guests are invited to “join Peter Pan, Tinkerbell and their old nemesis Captain Hook as they use music, dance and drama to tell selected parts of this classic Edwardian tale filled with humour and adventure.” The show runs through December 29. Check the Casa Loma website for details.

Also on Saturday, December 7, the CRBA is hosting the annual Corktown Christmas Party at the Dominion on Queen. It includes a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, live music and a kids’ room with movies. Don’t miss it! We’ve posted the details here.

On Sunday, December 8, get into the Christmas spirit with the Victorian Christmas Market at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests will “enjoy hot chocolate and festive treats while you peruse the wares on offer at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse.” See the Ontario Heritage Trust website for details.

Remember too that the Toronto Christmas Market continues in the Distillery District. Check out their website for a calendar of events.

Finally, our friends in Regent Park are presenting the Second Annual Regent Park Christmas Carol Sing on Sunday, December 8 from 3 to 4 p.m. at 40 Oak Street. Come out and meet new friends and sing all the Christmas favourites. Click here for details.
