What’s in a Name?
“The George” – The George Brown Residence in the West Don Lands has been given a name! It will now be known as “The George”. I’m sure George Brown, journalist, politician and Father of Confederation would be happy with the latest building which bears his name!
“The Bentway” – The space formerly known as “Under Gardiner” now has been given a name selected through a naming contest. A bent is the architectural term for concrete overpass supports, so it is rather appropriate! See here for more information on this amazing project.
