Sunday, November 1, 2026 | Sackville Park, Corktown
Join the Corktown Residents & Business Association (CRBA) for an evening of pumpkins, costumes and neighbourhood history!
🎃 Pumpkin Parade | 5:30–7:00 PM
Bring your carved pumpkins to Sackville Park starting at 5:30 PM so neighbours can enjoy the display before the evening walk. Costumes are encouraged for all ages, and the CRBA will be handing out candy! Those joining the walk can leave their pumpkins at the park and collect them afterward or they will be disposed of by the City.
🏮 Illuminated Tales | 7:00–8:00 PM
Following the Pumpkin Parade, join us for a guided walk through Corktown to discover fascinating stories from our neighbourhood’s past.
Our five stops will explore:
- Little Trinity Church – Historic fires
- St. Paul’s Basilica – Corktown’s Irish heritage and the Famine Memorial
- 505 Queen Street East – Dan Aykroyd and famous for his role in Ghostbusters
- St. Paul Catholic School – The history of a cemetery on the school grounds
- Henry Box Brown Lane – The remarkable story of Henry “Box” Brown
The walk will begin and end at Sackville Park.
Illuminated Tales is a Pay What You Can event. Donations will be collected to help the CRBA organize future community events.
We look forward to seeing you there!
