CRBA November Meeting Recap
- There was an excellent presentation by Andrew Hilton of Waterfront Toronto on the future of the Portlands. The work will protect properties to the east of the DVP from flooding and as a bonus, a whole new thoughtfully planned out neighbourhood will be created.
- Sarah Beldick, GM Cooper Koo Family YMCA, gave us a brief presentation on the Green Roof which is NOW OPEN! It is available to members during YMCA hours. It will close when snow or frost descends upon us so you better get over there soon.
- A long discussion was had on the 514 Cherry St. streetcar route and the squealing the streetcars make when they turn from Cherry onto King St. Please note that a meeting will be held on this issue as described earlier in this newsletter.
Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 6 @ Cooper Koo Family YMCA, 7pm.
