Parents and kids looking for a good (and bookish) way to spend the summer should take note. Our friends at St. Lawrence Library have a great line-up of family-friendly events set for the month of July.
On Tuesday, July 2 at 7 p.m., there’s an opportunity to learn to juggle (!) with Marla Brennan.
The next week, on Tuesday, July 8 at 7 p.m., it’s your chance to learn to speak pirate. Kids should come in pirate costume, or I can only assume they may be made to walk the plank.
On Tuesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. the room will be filled with a lot of hot air as attendees learn about balloon art with guest Debbie Stevens of the Twisted Ones.
And finally, on Tuesday, July 30 at 7 p.m., it’s time for Scary Stories!
All events take place at the St. Lawrence Branch of the Toronto Public Library, located at 171 Front Street East.
