It’s our first event of 2021 – and our Annual General Meeting!
We’ll provide you with updates from our last year of work. From the Foundry to Small Business Advocacy, the last year has flown by but our team has been active in the background – and sometimes foreground – to advocate for our Residential and Business communities.
We’ll kick off the evening with an exclusive interview featuring Tiny Mile Delivery CEO, Ignacio Tartavull. You’ve seen their pink delivery robots around the neighbourhood – now get to know the guy behind this growing company.
Giving us an update from Toronto City Hall is Toronto-Centre Councillor, Kristyn Wong-Tam. From championing the Save the Foundry movement to YongeTOmorrow and many local issues important to you – she has been a steady presence in Corktown during the Pandemic.
We’ll also welcome a number of candidates to our Board and will be introducing them to you a couple weeks before the AGM. Our President, Aaron Binder, and Treasurer, Sanjay Vakani, have both decided to step down from the CRBA Board to focus on growing their local businesses. We wish them both well and hope to see them at the Underpass Park Market this Summer!
We also have a new set of bylaws to vote on, you can read them here.
