Corktown 2019 Update and Recap

Anishnawbe $25,000 Fundraiser

If you’ve been following along in Corktown the last few months, you probably heard we partnered with Anishnawbe Health Foundation to help them fundraise $25,000 toward their new Health Centre in Canary District.

As of this month, we’ve surpassed that goal!  Our fundraising effort was capped off on December 5th with a Gift Basket auctioned off at Corktown’s Annual Holiday Party – completely handbuilt by Deb Meyers.  Our friend Peter at Canary EyeCare was the top bidder on this auction item.

The fundraising effort for Anishnawbe’s new Health Centre is still ongoing, you can learn more and donate by clicking here.
