September CRBA Public Meeting

Our CRBA meeting last week was held at the Cooper Koo Family YMCA and was very well attended. Deputy Mayor Pam McConnell spoke, Derek Goring gave us a very interesting overview of the project named “East Harbour” (aka Unilever site) and the recently opened Souk Tabule made sure that we had enough sustenance to make it through the meeting. Thanks to everyone for coming out!  Next month the meeting will be on October 4th in the same location. Hope to see you there!

Souk Tabule is OPEN!!

Souk Tabule opened up last week and they also brought a bunch of food to the CRBA monthly public meeting to share. Besides their amazing Middle Eastern food, Souk Tabule has a variety of teas, spices and condiments for sale.

Find them in the West Don Lands area of Corktown: at the end of Front St. beside Gears, just before you hit Corktown Common.

Hours: 11am – 9pm
