eNewsletter: New Public Art, Shopping and Dogs of Corktown!

Garden of Future Follies

We are ever so lucky to have so much public art in our neighbourhood.  Make sure that you wander over to the newest addition “Garden of Future Follies” which can be found at the very east end of Front Street, in front of the Gears store.  To learn more about it, you can read this Waterfront Toronto Blog Post.

Shopping: Etsy Pop Up

Back by popular demand, there will be an Etsy Pop Up shop at the Cambria Gallery at 91 Parliament St (King & Parliament).  Be sure to check out the goods of our local Toronto Etsy artists.

Dogs of Corktown

A group of concerned dog owners are looking out for the safety and well being of our beloved four legged friends.  To learn more about them and to see how you can get involved, check out their website .   They also are conducting a survey to find out how residents feel about the current dog parks. To fill out the survey, click here.

Shipping Container Market

A new market has opened on the front lawn of the TCHC buildings at Queen and Berkeley.  It is in a repurposed shipping container and has shelves packed to the brim with fresh vegetables.  The prices are extremely affordable!  They are open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
