Good news for Corktowners! After a long delay, the King Street connection to the Queen Street bridge is set to re-open this Friday, June 5. At that time, 504 King streetcar service will resume on King East on its normal routing between the bridge and Parliament Street.
Here’s the official notice from the TTC:
King Street East reopens to streetcar service 503 Kingston Road and 504 King Routes
Date: Starting June 5, 2015
Regular streetcar service will resume on King Street East, east of Parliament Street on Friday, June 5, 2015. During the bridge closure on King Street East, streetcars on the 503 and 504 routes were diverted via Queen Street East between Parliament Street and River Street.
