Urban Toronto has some cool updates on the data centre project being built on the corner of Mill & Parliament and the River City Phase 3 project, which includes new renderings.
Clean Toronto Together is scheduled to take place the weekend of April 26 and April 27, with clean-up events taking place all across the city. We’re looking for people to be Cleanup Captains for their local parks or laneways. Click here for details.

Also upcoming: Jane’s Walk weekend, which takes place the weekend of May 3 and May 4. There’s a number of amazing-looking local walks planned, so please check out the full list. Events for the week of April 13, 2014
Don’t forget that RABBIT HOLE continues all week long at Alumnae Theatre, with the show closing on Saturday, April 26. You can get your tickets online.
Speaking of theatrics, new at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts is TRUDEAU AND THE FLQ, a look back at an important piece of Canada history presented by VideoCabaret in association with Soulpepper. Performances run through May 10. You can get tickets online.
The Dominion on Queen recently opened up their patio for the first time this spring. Let’s hope the weather cooperates and it can stay open! As always, the Dominion has a great line-up of events, including the Good Neighbours Open Mic Night on Monday, April 14 and the world-famous Corktown Ukelele Jam on Wednesday, April 16. On Friday, April 18, Little Trinity Church in association with Soulpepper present SUBWAY STATIONS OF THE CROSS, a “performance of songs and spoken word inspired by an encounter with a homeless man many years ago” created and performed by Ins Choi. The performance will take place at the church at 8 p.m., with the $15 ticket cost going toward the Yonge Street Mission. Click here to view the flyer.
On Sunday, April 20, get egg-cited for an Easter Egg Hunt in Corktown Common. Children of all ages are welcome, just remember to bring your own basket. Meet at the playground at 10 a.m. — rain or shine. You might even see a rabbit or two. We’ve got more details posted here.
After searching out some eggs in the park, head on over to the Distillery District for the Leslieville Flea, where more than 70 vendors will be selling their wares. It’s open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m in the Fermenting Cellar. Click here for details.
