The big news: Waterfront Toronto held an event last week (attended by members of the CRBA board) to announce that construction for the PanAm/ParaPanAm Games in 2015 is now 50% complete, with everything on or ahead of schedule. Urban Toronto’s Craig White has a good article about the announcement with lots of photos.

Speaking of Waterfront Toronto, their May newsletter is hot off the presses. If you didn’t get it in your email inbox, you can view it online here. Lots of updates on projects in and around our community.

And on Saturday, June 1, be sure to cross the bridge to Riverside as our neighbours to the east present their annual Spring Fest. Eats & Beats in Riverside promises great food, great music and a great atmosphere as restaurants and businesses open their doors.
