HELP YOUR COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION & MAKE YOUR MARK ON CORKTOWN

Do you have an eye for design? A way with logos?
Then we want you to enter the Corktown Design Competition to create a design for some Corktown swag!

The Corktown Residents & Business Association (CRBA) invites students, designers, and members of our community to submit their logo designs to be considered for use on a new Corktown t-Shirt and button.

Design guidelines are on the Corktown.ca website. But get a move on, the deadline is October 31st!

Toronto Pumpkin Parades

The tradition of Pumpkin Parades started in Sorauren Park over 10 years ago.  This year there are 34 Pumpkin Parades in Toronto. If you want to join in the fun, there are 2 Pumpkin Parades close to Corktown. Just bring your pumpkin along and share with the community! See this Park People blog post for more information.

Cooper Koo Family Y Employment Opportunities

Our new YMCA has just posted several part time job opportunities. They welcome and encourage applications from the neighbourhood. They are in need of lifeguards and swimming instructors, personal trainers, individual conditioning reps, membership sales and service staff, pilates instructors and housekeeping staff.
