Cherry Street YMCA: what would YOU like to see on YOUR new green roof?

green-roof-alt

As we mentioned in our weekly update, the Cooper Koo Family YMCA is looking for feedback on the design of their 30,000 square foot green roof, located atop their brand new facility at Front & Cherry — set to open in 2016.

In addition to the online survey, there’s now a public consultation session scheduled for Tuesday, February 24 at 7 p.m.

Details:

The new Green Roof on top of the Cooper Koo Family Cherry Street Y will transform typically unused space to provide new, vibrant, community space for the neighbourhood.

Would you like a place to get fit? A place to relax and socialize? A place that explores the history of the neighbourhood? A place that promotes environmental stewardship and sustainability? We want to hear from you!

Visit us at ymcagta.org/torontocherry to fill out the online survey or attend the consultation session and give us your feedback in person. Our designers, property development and operations teams will be on site to hear your comments and answer your questions.

Consultation Session:

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

51 Division, Toronto Police Services (Corner of Parliament & Front)

7 to 8 p.m. – no registration required.
