The Corktowner is the Corktown Residents & Business Association’s seasonal newsletter highlighting the latest news, events, and stories from the community. It is published quarterly and distributed to all homes and businesses within the Corktown area. Past issues can be downloaded from http://corktown.ca/the-corktowner/
The Corktowner is written and produced by local residents and business volunteers. We need a Project Manager to get the paper out on time every quarter, working with writers and editors to get articles in, edited, and ready for the production process.
Like all CRBA roles, this is a volunteer, unpaid position that offers huge amounts of community value and personal satisfaction.
This role will entail several hours of work about 4-6 weeks before each publication date and minimal work over the rest of the quarter.
If you are interested or want to learn more, please send an email with your contact information, your connection to Corktown, and why you’d like to take on this role to firstname.lastname@example.org. All candidates will be contacted for an interview.
Thanks and we look forward to talking to you!
